Ike’s Bagel Café Hosts Celebratory Ribbon-Cutting and Networking Breakfast in Livingston
February 17, 2016

LIVINGSTON, NJ — When Ike’s Bagels Café hosted the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) monthly resource breakfast in February, more new faces attended the event than ever before. Recently opened in June 2015, Ike’s Bagels Café also invited Chamber members to stay as Mayor Alfred Anthony headed a celebratory ribbon cutting of the family-owned and operated bagel shop, located at 277 Eisenhower Parkway.

With an extensive menu of 100-percent homemade baked goods, Ike’s Bagels Owners Steve, Jordan and Brett Vaccari were proud to host the breakfast and share with Livingston’s business owners all that the shop has to offer.

“My father and I have been in the food industry our entire lives, from bakeries to bagel shops, but this is our first location in this county so thank you for making us feel welcome,” said Jordan Vaccari, who said that the Township of Livingston has been extremely welcoming.

Jordan’s father Steve added that the family is committed to maintaining a clean, organized and friendly environment at the shop. Also known for its catering services, Ike’s Bagel Café offers everything from hand-rolled bagels, homemade muffins, a variety of sandwiches and a plethora of healthy options like egg-white platters and the fan-favorite avocado salad.

According to the owners, Ike’s Bagels is happy to take recommendations for options to add to its constantly updated menu in order to accommodate the customers’ needs.

“My kids will only eat their bagels,” said a regular customer who was on location, coincidentally picking up lunch to drop off at Livingston High School for her daughter. “Their customer service is fantastic and their bagels are the best in town.”

According to LACC President Monte Ehrenkranz, the LACC Board is ecstatic with how much the membership has grown since the beginning of 2015, making the business district in Livingston longer than ever.

“I would love to say that there are so many new faces here today,” said Ehrenkranz. “I’m so proud that our members are bringing in new people, new faces as well as new people hearing about what we do at the Chamber and wanting to participate. I’m really happy with how the Chamber is growing and the direction the Chamber is going in and we hope to continue it and fill other locations like this.”
