Expanded On-Site Amenities at Eisenhower Plaza include New Tenant-Exclusive Fitness Center

Personal Training by Living Fitness, Cafe Renovation also planned for Class A Office Complex in Livingston, N.J.

LIVINGSTON, N.J., March 9, 2015 – A new fitness center is nearing completion at Eisenhower Plaza in Livingston, creating another exceptional on-site amenity for tenants and employees of the 160,000-square-foot Class A office property. Located at 354 Eisenhower Parkway, Eisenhower Plaza is owned and managed by Eastman Companies of Livingston, N.J.

The fitness center, named “354 Fit,” is part of Eisenhower Plaza’s new Amenity Court, which includes a cafe, a seating area that functions as a training room and private dining. Enhancements to the cafe – a small expansion to the seating area and meeting rooms plus a renovation that will include a grill – are scheduled for later in the year.

354 Fit will be accessible to all building tenants for a nominal fee. The fitness center is being constructed in two phases, the first of which encompasses cardiovascular equipment, a weight bench area with dumbbells and workout stations. Phase Two will focus on a small expansion to add equipment and a stretching area.

Further expanding Eisenhower Plaza’s fitness offerings, Living Fitness has opened a 1,900-square-foot studio adjacent to 354 Fit, providing one-on-one personal training and Pilates sessions by appointment, according to Michael Schofel, Eastman’s co-managing partner.

“Today’s office tenants increasingly are looking for ways to enjoy more balance in their work and personal lives,” said Schofel. “Our new fitness center, combined with one-on-one personal training and Pilates available through Living Fitness, significantly raises the bar for corporate health and fitness offerings. We are excited to bring these two wonderful amenities to Eisenhower Plaza’s tenants.”

Located in the heart of Essex County, Eisenhower Plaza is situated along Eisenhower Parkway between Route 10 and I-280, just minutes from New York City, Newark Liberty International Airport, and many of the area’s premier dining and shopping options.
