Eastman Companies proudly announced the completion of the Solar Installation Project at Eisenhower Corporate Campus in Livingston, New Jersey this past month. The solar installation is part of a larger green initiative aimed at reducing the building’s carbon footprint and cutting operational costs.

The solar installation project consists of 1,793 solar array modules that produce 500 kW of sustainable energy-one of the largest building installations in the State. To showcase the commitment to the environment, 68 kW of the total system was placed on a prominent hillside near the Eisenhower Corporate Campus, while the remaining panels sit atop the building’s roof.

The building’s green initiative project also added two electric car charging stations for its patrons. Eisenhower Corporate Campus further reduced its energy requirements by installing a building energy management system, improving the building’s HVAC system, while continuing to comply with LEED EB standards.

Eastman Companies recognizes how essential it is to reduce its carbon footprint, and strives to do so by remaining on the forefront of global green initiatives.
